This original three-dimensional artwork is handcrafted by C. Rubin, an artist and expert in the field of 3-D paintings. It depicts the Jewish Quarter in Prague, Rome with the Old-New Shul at the right. This historical place goes back hundreds of years when Prague was a thriving Jewish Center under the leadership of the Maharal, who led the congregation of the Shul. There are many legends circulating that the Maharal created the known "Golem" in the attic of this Shul. As you are looking at this historical site, you will notice the amazing Jewish clock where the numerals are written in Hebrew letters. The handles of the clock rotate counter-clockwise as the Hebrew language is written from right to left.  The long winding dust road with the water carrier lugging his pails at dawn, reminds us of those bygone days when the Shul was a vibrant center of the flourishing community in the Jewish Quarter of Prague.

The sensation of depth felt in the picture is created by an accurate work with shadows and by using the 4" depth of the picture to build it. The picture is signed by the artist.
